TaxProfBog points to the Res Ipsa Blog which provides a very good post cryptically entitled “Top Twenty Firefox Add-ons that Make Firefox the Researcher’s Browser of Choice.” And, if you don’t know what a FireFox Add-on is, or Firefox is, I don’t believe you. There is nothing lamer than one of those lawyers that pretends not to know about basic software. Here is an example of an add-on:
Clipmarks… allows you to save portions of webpages for future reference, print only the parts of pages you want, and email portions of pages to yourself or others. It is the perfect tool for printing or saving multiple non-continuous sections of a page.
Now, of course, if you are reading this blog you don’t really do research the way law students do. Ethical attorneys like you already know most caselaw. But, of course, sometimes you need to get the exact wording used in a case (so as to show that judges known to be a specific political stripe ironically agrees with your position), or something like that.
Update: Firefox's Extend Blog names its top Add-ons here.
