The 9th Circuit holds today, in Miller v. Davis, that the former government of California enjoys judicial immunity when he reverses a decision of the parole board even if lacks the actual legal power to do that.
I am mainly posting this because the plaintiff, Don Miller, is by some accounts, an extraordinary man. He was a doctor. He went to law school in prison. He helped AIDS patients there. He commented on VC here.
