Thanks to Indefensible, we know that Touro Law School graduate and Nassau County DA, Kathleen Rice opposed an attempt to vacate a conviction, even after the underlying charges had been dismissed. To be sure, the defense attorney screwed up as well. So did the judge. But nobody seems to have admitted the error.
