Necessary cultural literacy

One of the ways I was able to obtain my position is due to my massive amount of social skills.  See, I have a assloads of the kind of cultural literacy that clients and employers like.    One wiff of my social skills and clients like totally trust me.

Many of you will be going into on-campus interviews as well as interviews with judges soon.  It is important that you convey to those employers that you enjoy the right kinds of interests and possess the right kinds of cultural knowledge.

Although you are all liars are fakers (and really shouldn’t be lawyers, anyway), I will play along with your stupid charade and help you prepare for your interviews.  Please watch this video and make sure that you can identify which cultural reference each scene is from.  There will be a quiz. The quiz is called "life."  (Here is a video of a sample interview.)

If you can’t handle this simple task, you are a nerd that shouldn’t have gone to law school.

*At least two Court of Appeals judges have agreed to make reference to various parts of this video in interviews this year.
