Chitty on Criminal Law now on Google Books

A lot of people write in asking where they can get a copy of Joseph Chitty's A Practical Treatise on Criminal Law.  So, whether you are in the business of sending innocent Americans to jail, make your living getting criminals off on technicalities, you can download the book here. 

Also, awhile ago I compiled a list of other works on the common law available, for free on Google Books.  If you were a good writer and detail-oriented you would know that.

C&F Points to Courthouse Confessions, which is a set of photos and dialog from lay people.  C&F uses it to show what most clients are like: stupid.  It reminds me of why I do not talk to lay people.  I figure it is easier to simply not talk to them, than to condescend to them the way all other lawyers do.
