Virginia on the penile plethysmograph

Supreme Court says: Inadmissible.

Oh by the way, most many middle-aged men use a plethysmograph to check their blood pressure. It is only the penile kind that is dirty.

Strangely, Virginia has a “per se admissible” rule regarding fingerprint analysis. Even though it is probably junk science, Virginia doesn’t even require any underlying facts to be analyzed or even presented to a jury for admission of that stuff.  SL&P comments here.
