small case roundup

  • Sheehan v. Richardson, No. 04-2505 (unpub) affirms a bankruptcy case, but doesn’t say why.  Whatever the case, the defendant is the trustee of Newport Creamery.
  • Martins v. Gonzales, No. 05-2295 (unpub), denies a petition for review in an asylum case essentially on credibility and relative weight grounds.  Petitioner was from Brazil.
  • Estrada Henao v. Gonzales, No. 05-2144 (this was published, but I don’t know why) denies a petition for review for lack of documentation, noting that a lack of documentation isn’t fatal, but “context matters.”  Petitioner was from Columbia.
