9th Circuit upholds stop-loss policy

In Santiago v. Rumsfeld, the Ninth Circuit issued a short order upholding the military stop-loss policy.  The Court stated that it will issue a full opinion in due course.  I will report when it does. 

I suspect that the reason for a quick opinion is that because as reported by NPR's morning edition, the plaintiff trained for his Afghanistan mission and had only two days after the argument to follow his unit into Kandahar.
